The Challenge
Customer research and analysis of the site metrics identified that Land Rover's Global Web Platform had significant usability issues (the platform was shared with Jaguar). Wunderman was given the brief to address these usability issues and in doing so deliver an enhanced brand experience that drives business results.

The Solution
Wunderman had to solve the usability issues and provide a platform framework that balances rational goal-orientated information with emotional brand experience and is scalable and flexible enough to accommodate metrics-driven changes.

We did this through the application of a robust research, design, test and build development process including consumer, business and organisation requirements capture; functional design specification and lo-fi usability testing; and creative development.

The Result
The platform was developed in just six months, and simultaneously launched in 22 markets in 56 languages. All of the key success measures showed substantial increases (UK and US survey), ease of navigation rose from 65% to 84% and increase in propensity to purchase went from 37% to 50%.
